Am I a Delasandro Supporter

A man approached me today while I was eating lunch and said, “Aren’t you that guy who works for Timothy Delasandro?” or something like that.

*sigh*

You would recognize this gentleman’s name, but it was a casual, random interaction, so I won’t mention it. The gist of the conversation is where I’m going here.

I told him I hadn’t been with Timothy since the end of November, and he was a bit surprised. He had been at the Delasandro fundraiser at Christopher’s World Grille we had in mid-November, which I had emceed. That’s where he recognized me from.

He stated he and his son were very pro-Timothy, and asked if I was still.

And he asked if our parting of ways was bad blood or amicable.

An hour with Matt Mackowiak

Chances are you don’t know Matt Mackowiak, but you will one day. And I mean that in a good way. I recommend you follow Matt on Twitter, at least. He’s one of the good guys.

Mat currently serves as the Campaign Manager for Bill Flores, who is running for the Texas District 17 House Seat in the United States House of Representatives. Mat’s a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and went to D.C. right out of school armed with an education in communications and political science. He has served on Capitol Hill as a Senate communications staffer as well as for Kay Bailey Hutchison, current Senior Senator for Texas and candidate for Governor.  Matt runs XYZ Blog which covers the happenings of inside-the-beltway spokespeople (I know, there’s something for everyone!) which has quite the following and is highly-regarded amongst Washington communications insiders.
