Beat Them While They Are Down and Keep Hitting the Democratic Bum Knee
[This is a duplicate post of my article on The People's Mob blog at Liberty First PAC]
The last time I cried when praying over the fate of our country was November 5, 2008. The day after Barack Obama was elected. That morning, as we start out every day, I gathered the family for our morning prayer. And I couldn’t make it through.
Tonight, I hit my knees thanking The Lord for Scott Brown’s victory. And I wept again.
That’s not really unusual for me, though, because I cry when I hear the Star Spangled Banner or see a National Cemetery.
Today, in Massachusetts, a shot was heard around the world, 234 years after the first one was fired in that same colony on a bridge near Concord. Each marking the beginning of a fight against despotism.
Barack Obama, to the delight of conservatives, has the Medusa touch. Far from the legendary Midas, all he touches turns to stone and plummets with amazing speed and predictability:
New Jersey Governor
Virginia Governor
New York 23
Massachusetts Senator
The Olympics
As much as Republicans eschewed the support of George W. Bush in the 2008 election, Barack Obama is now looking at 256 inimical faces in the House and 18 in the Senate. Some incumbents, while safe, may still push for Mr. Obama’s programs, but they will do so knowing the majority of Democrats are jittery at supporting anything Obama pushes.
They don’t want to sink like a rock. Or Barack.
Conservatives, the fight is not over!
We must beat unmercifully the weakened enemy and hit them in their bum knee. It is now time to expose the liberalism in all corners of our republic – Democrat and RINO. We must expose their support for programs that are intended to take our liberties and centralize power in the Federal government. We must continue to remind voters that these same aristocratic “honorables” were…
…the ones who refused to meet us in August to talk about the issues;
…the ones who voted for Cap & Trade;
…the ones who gave you stimulus-led inflation that will arrive in half a year;
…the ones who use your money to support killing babies while calling it health care;
…the ones who support our veterans while denying support for our soldiers in the field;
…the ones who want to give immature children prophylactics to encourage them to engage in relationships they are psychologically unprepared to handle and then blame parents whom they don’t allow to discipline those same kids;
…the ones who want your guns so you can’t protect yourself from them;
…the ones who give enemy soldiers the rights of US Citizens and try them in our courts;
…the ones who use and accept your money to be bribed into voting for things that will take that money and your rights from you.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE ONES WHO TOOK YOUR CONSTITUTION AND SHOVED IT IN YOUR FACE AND YELLED “SO WHAT?!?”
Your “representatives” will begin bringing home the bacon, telling you how much they have done for you with the big checks they are bearing at the expense of “stimulus.” Remind them, Patriot, that they stole that money from our fellow citizens across the state border and from our children and grandchildren.
Do not let their arrogance take foot. Do not let this victory in Massachusetts give you cause to pause and sigh with relief.
Get up off your knees from praying in thanksgiving, and FIGHT!
Right now, the enemy reels in confusion. Attack with a vengeance of truth and justice. Do not lie or interrupt. Do not pretend or waffle. Simply state the truth.
Always keep faith in the wisdom of our Founding Fathers and the Providential design that led them through His divine intervention to create His City on the Hill. Our Founding Fathers were not infallible; they were humble servants of the Truth.
Serve the Truth, Conservative, and it will set you free!

I was called out by someone who thinks I have compromised my principles by weeping for this victory. They think I am a single-issue voter (Right To Life) and thought they had caught me in a lie.
I did not think I needed to address the obvious flaws in Mr. Brown’s politics…they are all over the news. In fact, my post was not about the Senator’s victory, it was about the victory of our system of government, as I believe I clearly stated at the end of my post. It is for this that I wept. Was it not obvious enough when I said:
“Today, in Massachusetts, a shot was heard around the world, 234 years after the first one was fired in that same colony on a bridge near Concord. Each marking the beginning of a fight against despotism.”
I thought that was clear and that it simply clarified what I said a few sentences earlier:
“The last time I cried when praying over the fate of our country…”
Which would mean this time I was doing what? That’s right…crying while praying over the fate of our country.
Exactly where in this post do I say Mr. Brown is a conservative, is our guy, is anything near a conservative? Hello? McFly?
So let’s be clear – Scott Brown is no Conservative. He is a Liberal, Massachusetts made. I will support his conservative rival in the next election.
What he has done is put a stop to the insane spiraling out of control of the left’s intent to take over 1/6th of the American economy and send chronically ill people like me home with a pain pill to die.
This would be why I encouraged Conservatives not to rest.
So, if you want to accuse me of something, do two things:
1) Do it publicly;
2) RTFP
Yes, it was a liberal who attacked me and not the idea or the belief. He thought he had me, but hadn’t done his homework. He called me names, instead of going after the idea or presenting facts.
That, class, is how you know when you’ve won an argument with a liberal.
The only sad thing about the whole affair is this person is a friend of mine.
