American Writes Is About Americans, Right?

When I started this blog, it was and still is intended as a correspondence with Americans about our great country. Politics, by the nature of my hobby and now profession, have taken over this blog for the last six months, and, since I had no other venue for them, I was content to explore them further here. Politics are a very important part of what makes America right, and what makes this American write…

But I have another outlet for those political musings, sanctioned and syndicated on a national level, and it is time to get back to the Write Stuff on this blog. While I will occasionally dabble in politics, I am going to use my new venue for that part of life and reality, so as to keep things in both areas topical and to not have to decide where things should be posted.

My first project will be a commentary on the Alexis de Tocqueville masterpiece, Democracy In America, which I am now reading.

If you would like to see the continuation of my political writings, feel free to visit my blog with the Examiner. Read about it here and link to it here.

UPDATE: 15 February 2010 – It seems I am unable to make the distinction clearly enough about what belongs where, so I am making an attempt to consolidate. I’d rather everyone join in the conversation in one place, regardless of the topic.
