Beat Them While They Are Down and Keep Hitting the Democratic Bum Knee

The last time I cried when praying over the fate of our country was November 5, 2008. The day after Barack Obama was elected. That morning, as we start out every day, I gathered the family for our morning prayer. And I couldn’t make it through.
Tonight, I hit my knees thanking The Lord for Scott Brown’s victory. And I wept again.
That’s not really unusual for me, though, because I cry when I hear the Star Spangled Banner or see a National Cemetery.
Today, in Massachusetts, a shot was heard around the world, 234 years after the first one was fired in that same colony on a bridge near Concord. Each marking the beginning of a fight against despotism.
Barack Obama, to the delight of conservatives, has the Medusa touch. Far from the legendary Midas, all he touches turns to stone and plummets with amazing speed and predictability: (more…)
