Finally, a prominent Republican has announced what every honest conservative has been thinking and feeling since the moment Fox News announced Ohio for George W. Bush:

“Why would I listen to losers?” Schwarzenegger asked. “Let’s be honest.”

America has seen the great divide, and crossed over. And we have every right and reason to gloat. And we should. To paraphrase the eternal Liberal mantra:

Gloat Early, Gloat Often!

America, by majority and not plurality like the poster boy of the Left, has chosen the Conservative values over the Liberal values.

Let’s see. What’s that mean?

Well, the vast right wing conspiracy of racists, bigots, homophobes, greedy, selfish, sexist, gun-totin’, uptight, anti-choice big business worshiping conservatives must be what Americans want!

Or maybe that’s not what Conservatives represent, and the electorate is smarter than the hate-mongering, tax-and-give, special interest pandering, wealthy, intelligentsia, Old Media free love, lying Left thought they were.

Now, labels that work, stick. The ones you gave to us didn’t stick. As is always the case, character metes out what image overshadows…and your portrayal of us is not our character. And your portrayal of yourselves is not your character.

Hmmm…

America sees Right through the Liberal.

And now the Liberals want the Conservatives to embrace them and their positions, in a gesture of bridging the gap and finding common ground?

I think not.

It’s the loser who acquiesces and conforms to the will of the majority.

That’s why you don’t see English Architecture in Rome.

While we watch the slow demise of the Liberal movement to the level Rush Limbaugh finds appropriate…Two on every campii just so we remember what they represent, let’s note that your defeat has happened…the only thing left is for you to realize it.

Despite a full frontal attack by every 521, Old Guard Newspaper and Network Television, as well as the Hollywood elite and the ill-informed Rock and Roll community, you have lost. Withstanding that sort of assault AND winning is the equivalent of Travis actually winning at The Alamo, or Custer NOT getting Siouxed.

It’s akin to The American Revolution. Sometimes might does not make right…especially when Right makes right.

The tabloids of Britain ask how 58 Million Americans could be so dumb. Well, to be as blunt as Arnold…who cares what the limeys think?

They’re still sore that we thought ourselves better of them 250 years ago, and get crazier every day because we are! Why would we care what they think? If we did, we’d still be paying taxes on their paper and tea!

No, like the Romans before us, the Conservatives have won. Unlike the Romans, we are an ideology, not a state. Ideologies of Truth last forever. Just ask those Bible-thumping conservatives!

What this election has done is proven that Conservatism wins. And people have flocked in droves to the message.

Liberal constituencies have abandoned the Left because all they got were promises and no deliveries.

The Conservative believes that each person is equally capable of determining their own destiny, and the electorate has given us that opportunity to prove it.

The victory is not in the proof we will deliver, but in the consequences of the experiencing of this proof.

Every black man, every gay woman, every poor child, every homeless person, every uninsured individual…every person you have been beating down for years just so you could blame us will discover that they can control their future without the government getting in the way, and without you telling them how bad off they are.

And when they discover that, like slaves against a brutal master, they will destroy you. They will annihilate your ideology because of what it did to them for a century or more. You told them they were incapable, that they needed special rights or affirmative action or subsidies or food stamps. And you made them the dependent franchise that they became.

Your biggest fear is about to come true. You’re about to be found out for the fraud that you are.

And we will watch, And we will gloat. We will give them the tools, and, like the Germans at The Wall, they will break you.

If you don’t get the message, and continue your fight for legitimacy, you will be greeted in two years with a super majority in the Senate. And then your death will be imminent.

By my reckoning, that is probably what will happen. And the obscurity of Liberalism will be at hand.

From the Shining City on The Hill, The Conservative will be meted out its reward at Judgment Day. When asked what we have done for the least of these, we will rise with one resounding voice:

Veni vidi vici probus.
